Shape Global Health Policy on PPPR and become a member of our Hub Community on Pandemic Prevention and Biosecurity.

In 2026, the United Nations will convene the second High-Level Meeting on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness, and Response (PPPR) – a key moment to build political momentum for strengthening global mechanisms that prevent future pandemics and improve collective readiness. PPPR is essential for resilient health systems and reducing global health risks worldwide.

The Global Health Hub Germany (GHHG) will accompany the UN High-Level Meeting from a German non-state perspective, led by our Community on Pandemic Prevention and Biosecurity. We are therefore inviting new members to join the community and actively contribute to this important international process.

Why Join? As a member of the community, you will have the unique opportunity to

  • Bring your expertise and perspective into a global policy process
  • Help shape the German non-state actor position on PPPR
  • Engage in dialogue with national decision makers,
  • Contribute to practical and forward-looking recommendations.

What to Expect: Drawing on the experiences of last year, the GHHG has developed a Roadmap outlining planned activities to accompany the UN High-Level Meeting on PPPR. Please see the roadmap below. Actively contributing will not only require your expertise and time but also willingness to dive into the political and diplomatic context of PPPR.

How to Join: If you are interested, please send a brief introduction of yourself along with

  • 2-3 sentences on your motivation for contributing to the PPPR process
  • and your expected time availabilities for the coming months (hours per week)

by January 5th 2026 to info@globalhealthhub.de

The first community meeting is expected to take place in the third week of 2026, however, interested individuals are welcome to join the process at any stage.

We look forward to welcoming committed contributors who want to help shape the future of PPPR!
