The Benin Society of Immunology is organizing in close collaboration with the Center for Global Health (CGH) at Technical University of Munich (TUM) a webinar on May 6th, 2021, on the issue of "SARS-CoV-2 vaccine: Opportunities and Challenges for Africa".

Prof. Dr. Clarissa Prazeres da Costa (CGH, TUM) and Dr. Tomabu Adjobimey (SIB) will host experts in COVID-19 vaccine immunology, development and vaccine testing and trials to unpack the current narrative of COVID-19 vaccination campaigns, current immunity, acceptance and the host of challenges in Africa.

 

Prof. Don J. Diamond, from the City of Hope Medical Center, California, USA, and his team have recently developed a promising MVA-based SARS-CoV-2 vaccine candidate for clinical trials and will feature as our keynote speaker.
