Who are the members?
The core of the Hub are its members: people and organizations from all areas and sectors who are committed to Global Health.
What does the Steering Committee do?
The Global Health Hub is being planned strategically and constantly developed further: This is what the Steering Committee does. It’s members are up to 16 personalities who equally represent science, business, civil society and youth, as well as think tanks, foundations, the Parliamentary Space and international organisations.
The German government has observer status while the future head of the networking platform "Research for Global Health" and the president of the World Health Summit (WHS) have voting rights.
What does the office do?
The Global Health Hub Germany‘s office is provided by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in Berlin. The team organizes the planning and implementation of the Hub's goals, it‘s communication and administration. Most important for your: the team enables direct exchange between you and your hub co-members – on this online-platform and in „real life“ during events and with partners.
